Deluxe Edition
Deluxe Edition is the $59.99 / €59.99 bundle of Way of the Hunter 2 plus the Season One Season Pass. Standard is $39.99 / €39.99 for the 1.0 base game. Heirloom Pack is $4.99, free for Early Access owners and console pre-orders. Night Hunting Pack is $4.99, free for Way of the Hunter 1 owners, who also get a 13% loyalty discount on the sequel.

Standard versus Deluxe
Standard is the 1.0 game: three maps, 28 species, dog, shot review, two-player co-op. Deluxe adds Season One, priced at $34.99 if bought alone, bundled in the $59.99 Deluxe ticket. Season One is eight DLCs in year one, including lodge decor, two new hunting grounds in Central Asia and southern South America, two weapon packs, and a new dog breed. Those DLCs are not in the 1.0 download.
If you already played Early Access on Steam, you are not buying the animals again; you are choosing whether the year-one pass is worth the extra $20 over Standard. Console pre-orders that already claimed Heirloom do not need to buy that pack a second time. Compare the rifle names on the gear ledger before you pay for cosmetic statues.
Heirloom, Night Hunting, and WOTH1 loyalty
Heirloom Pack contents are an engraved STRASSER .243, matching scope, MDT .270 chassis rifle, and a bronze elk statue. Night Hunting Pack contents are the Overgaard night optics and ZOOMXD NV collimator listed on the gear page. Way of the Hunter 1 owners get Night Hunting free plus 13% off the sequel. Neither pack changes co-op size or unlocks Kilimaya; Kilimaya is already in 1.0.
Lodge Decoration is $1.99 inside the Season Pass: statues at lodge entrances. It is the first Season Pass DLC, not a map. Steam DLC app IDs were captured for Heirloom, Night Hunting, Season Pass, and Lodge Decoration. Prices above are the studio FAQ and store figures, not a live regional SKU crawl.
Which ticket to buy
Buy Standard if you want the 29 September 1.0 hunting sim and will decide on later maps later. Buy Deluxe if you already know you want the year-one reserves and extra breed. Claim Heirloom if you were in Early Access or pre-ordered on console. Claim Night Hunting if you own the first game. There are no microtransactions planned; leftover money goes to these premium packs or not at all.
Platform list is PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The FAQ is the first-party price sheet this page uses. Gear compare is the first-party name sheet for what Heirloom and Night Hunting actually put in the gun cabinet.
Claiming packs you already paid for
Early Access Steam owners should see Heirloom without buying it again: STRASSER .243, matching scope, MDT .270, bronze elk. Console pre-orders use the same claim. Way of the Hunter 1 owners should see Night Hunting plus 13% off. If those grants are missing, the FAQ and Steam DLC pages are the first-party path, not a support ticket to this atlas.
Standard at $39.99 is the 1.0 hunting sim. Deluxe at $59.99 is that sim plus eight later DLCs. Season Pass alone is $34.99. Lodge Decoration at $1.99 is statues. None of those SKUs add co-op slots or Kilimaya, because Kilimaya is already in 1.0. Central Asia and southern South America are the later grounds inside Season One.
Pick Standard if you want to hunt 28 animals this week. Pick Deluxe if you already want the year-one maps and extra breed. Claim loyalty packs if you qualify. Skip microtransactions; the studio did not plan any. Gear compare lists what Heirloom and Night Hunting put in the cabinet so you are not buying a pack twice for a rifle you already hold.
The $20 question
Deluxe costs $20 more than Standard because Season One is $34.99 on its own and the bundle shaves that. If you are unsure about Central Asia and southern South America, buy Standard. You can add the pass later. If you already want eight DLCs in year one, Deluxe is the cleaner ticket.
Heirloom and Night Hunting are not the $20 question. They are loyalty and pre-order grants, or $4.99 each. Lodge Decoration is $1.99 inside the pass. None of them change the 28-species 1.0 list. Kilimaya is not locked behind Deluxe. Headquarters is not locked behind Deluxe.
Steam, GOG, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S are the storefronts. Regional SKUs can differ from the FAQ dollar figures. This atlas uses the studio FAQ prices because they are the first-party sheet. Gear compare then tells you whether Heirloom’s rifles are already in your cabinet so you are not paying twice.
If a friend already owns Way of the Hunter 1, tell them to claim Night Hunting and the 13% off before they buy Deluxe. If they lived in Early Access, tell them Heirloom should already be there. Those two grants are easy to miss in a store UI that also shouts Season Pass.
Standard is the 1.0 hunt. Deluxe is the year-one pass. Loyalty packs are grants. That is the whole store wall.
